Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about our on-site crushing services, pricing and process.

Service & Process

What materials can you crush?

We crush old concrete (slabs, driveways, walkways, demolition rubble), field stone, rock piles, brick, and block. The material is processed into reusable base material, typically equivalent to Granular A or 3/4" clear stone depending on the input.

Can you crush concrete with rebar?

Yes, our equipment can handle concrete with standard rebar and wire mesh. The crusher separates the metal, which we can either leave on site for you to scrap or haul away for an additional fee. Extremely heavy or thick rebar may require manual review.

What size pieces can go into the crusher?

Our mobile crushers typically accept pieces up to 16" x 24" x 30". If your material is larger, it will need to be broken down before crushing. We offer pre-breaking services for an additional cost if required.

Can I reuse the crushed material?

Yes. Crushed concrete and stone can be reused as base material for driveways, interlock, landscaping, backfill and site preparation.

Do you work with contractors?

Yes. We provide reliable on-site crushing support for landscaping, interlock, demolition and construction companies across the GTA.

Preparation & Access

Do I need to prepare the material?

Ideally, material should be piled in a clean, accessible area free of dirt, wood, plastic, or garbage. Clean material produces the best reusable aggregate. If material handling or sorting is required, we offer Full-Service Crushing packages.

Can you work in a backyard?

Yes, our mobile crushers are relatively compact. However, we need a minimum clearance width of about 8 feet for access, and sufficient solid ground to operate the machinery safely. Site access is reviewed via photos before we finalize a quote.

What should I upload for a quote?

To give you an accurate quote, please upload 3-5 photos showing: 1) The entire pile or area of material, 2) A close-up showing the size of the pieces (put a shovel or bucket next to it for scale), and 3) The access route from the street to the material.

Do I need permits?

Permit requirements vary by municipality and project type. We can advise during the quote process, but you are responsible for confirming local requirements.

Pricing & Estimates

How much does it cost?

Our minimum service call starts at $1,250. Half-day crushing starts at $1,500, and full-day starts at $2,400. Final pricing depends on material type, amount, presence of rebar, site access, and whether you need our operator to load the crusher.

Is the calculator estimate final?

No, the online calculator provides a preliminary estimate based on standard conditions. A final, binding quote is provided only after our team reviews your specific site photos and project details.

Do you service my area?

We serve the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions within approximately 100km of Vaughan, ON. Contact us if your location is outside our standard service area.

Do you remove leftover material?

Our primary service is on-site crushing. Any leftover material can typically remain on your property for reuse. Haul-away can be discussed as a separate service if needed.
